It seems the speaking circuit is calling lately with invitations to speak at a few different events coming forward. I feel very honored to be asked and extremely nervous at the same time. Hearing stories of peoples business journey is always really interesting and hopefully I can inspire a few people along the way. I wrote a post on our journey in March.
I have been invited to speak at the Whangarei Business Womens Network group on July 16th here in Whangarei. I will talking about my journey of building my business as a ‘Solopreneur’ and offering my top Xero tips as well.
I have also been invited to speak at Xerocon – Xero’s Australasian conference which is being held in Brisbane in September. I will be speaking as part of a four member panel discussion on Bookkeeping Beyond 2020 – a discussion on what post 2020 looks like and how we are positioning ourselves for success.
Not only will I be opening and closing our Annual NZ Bookkeepers Association (ICNZB) Conference #Bookkeepcon18, I will also be involved in a panel discussion on Anti Money Laundering with Internal Affairs and 2Shakes.
I will be making a speech to students at the Career Academy Graduation ceremony in Auckland in August; and Ill be delivering a training session to our ICNZB Auckland Regional Meeting on GST reconciliations.
Must get my brave pants on….
